baby's 1st birthday card

At the last minute I realized I needed to make a card for Camree's birthday so with 30 minutes to spare I went to work. I liked how some of the other cards she recieved had a #1 on them so I decided to follow suit. I looked through my number stamps and found one I thought would work and started playing around with it but I did not like it. Then I remembered I had some chipboard #'s so I found a #1 in my pack and it was perfect. Then I was sorting through my scrap paper drawer and picked out something that would be cute to cover the chipboard. I found a peice of cardstock that would coordinate with it, and some other paper that would coordinate for the background. I also punched out the butterfly twice with some paper and stampled it together. After that I used dimensionals to glue them on and give it a pop or 3-D effect. And of course I stamped the birthday greeting which was right over the other stamped image that was already on the cardstock which just worked out to be fine with me. It just goes to show how you can create anything and make it work without much of a plan in mind; the ideas just come to you as you are going along.

Hi! You're so creative! Love the card and the cake! It sounds yummy! Was it hard to eat after all that hard work and plus how do you eat something that's just so cool looking!?

I guess the time has gotten away from me--sorry! thanks for the comment! It was not too hard just time consuming--the cake was a little chewey from using jello in the mix and a little over baked--oops! love all the pictures!
